I saw that one coming

"Hey, did you hear about that tax hike?"

"Ya, I saw that one coming."

"Really?"

"Ya, they've been hinting at it for the last few months, talking about each of us having to 'take more responsibility', it was pretty obvious."

"Hmm... How about that new mall they're opening. That should be cool."

"Ya, I saw that one coming."

"What?"

"Sure. That lots' been vacant for years, and there's quite a lot of families that live in the surrounding area. The teenagers have tons of disposable income and the parents have a lot of retail-category expenses. Besides, did you see that soil? It was perfect for this kind of development."

"Uhhh... sure. So did you hear about that Shop-Co clerk that wasted his whole family?"

"Oh, I totally saw that one coming."

"I'm leaving..."

"C'mon. He had gainful employment. It was totally obvious he'd begin saving up money from his night shift and once he had enough he'd lie and tell his family he was going over to a friends, but really go down to the states to pick up a black-market revolver. I mean, if you think about it, it was pretty clear he'd sneak the revolver back into the country, pick up his kids from daycare, wait for his wife to get home and then take out his feelings of hurt and insecurity by executing them all in the basement."

"Well, I guess you're clairvoyant. I'm still leaving..."

"Ya, I saw that one coming."
