As for Roslin, she's just running on pure survival instinct. Sure, they ALL are, but hers is a little heightened by the fact her own personal mortality is VERY much out in the open, right now. That doesn't excuse a good chunk of her actions, but it explains to an extent why she's operating in full bore 'Protection is Everything, Fuck the Rest' mode.

So, one thing I've been pondering...what exactly WILL the reactions be when the identitities of the four become known? MY own personal opinion is that it will be kept very hush hush by Adama, etc.. After all, he can't exactly afford to throw his XO and one of his best Engineers out of an airlock right now, and that's what the general publoic would probably be wont to do. Loyalty to Tigh is going to come in to some extent, as well, I think. Anders...well, really, he's more a fringe character, so who the Hell knows what they do there, though some sort of 'vengeance' for Gaeda's leg doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility. Maybe they go Old Testament, and we do the 'Tooth for a Tooth, Leg for a Leg' thing? And, well, Tory is already looked down upon by Roslin as pretty much a whore, so there's not much drop left, there.
