What I found most troubling was that they were all like "he will be changed, he will lose some of his humanity, etc, etc" And I think that kind of robbed the character of something. I would've preferred if Ben was just some guy who was naturally a lying deceitful jerk. Giving him a mystical reason to be a jerk, then suddenly its not his fault. I also disliked how they dealt with his healing.
